Mira Mezini is a full professor of computer science at Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany, where she leads the software technology group. She holds a a PhD (Dr.-Ing.) from the University of Siegen, Germany. Prior to joining Darmstadt University of Technology, she was an assistant professor of computer science at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
Her current research interests are in design and implementation of languages with powerful modularization capabilities, aspect-oriented programming, design patterns and frameworks, component-oriented software development and adaptable component middleware.
